Flu vaccinations are a safe and effective way to prevent the flu. Our clinic offers both the flu shot and the nasal spray vaccine for eligible patients. The flu shot contains an inactivated virus, while the nasal spray contains a weakened virus, both of which help your immune system build immunity to the flu virus.

Our team of experienced medical professionals will provide you with a thorough consultation to determine which type of flu vaccine is best for you or your child. We understand that every patient has unique medical needs, and we will work with you to ensure that you receive the most appropriate and effective vaccine.

Our flu vaccination service is available for both adults and children. Children aged between 2 and 17 are eligible for the nasal spray vaccine, while adults can receive either the flu shot or nasal spray, depending on their medical history and other factors. Our clinic charges a consultation and administration fee of €70, in addition to the cost of the vaccine. Please note that individual vaccine prices may vary. Note that in 2023, children aged 2 – 17 were entitled to receive HSE Nasal Flu Vaccination free of charge with the provision of funding by the HSE at Bath Avenue Medical Centre.
